I have had a life-long interest in natural healing. Even as a young child, I always wanted to know WHY certain symptoms would occur within the body and how we could affect them.

In my late teens & early adulthood, I suffered from an irregular menstrual cycle and acne. After years of suffering and countless trips to the doctor, I finally found out in 2013 that I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). With this comes fertility problems. Having had an instinctual strong desire for a family all of my life, I was devastated. I was thinking the worst about my future fertility. However, at the time I was studying Nutrition & Naturopathy and from that moment I decided to learn everything there was to know about harmonising women's wellbeing.

A couple of years later, in 2015, I was delighted and surprised that I fell pregnant with my first daughter, after 3 months. I believe my tailored naturopathic plan had a large part to play. After giving birth, I sadly suffered a severe perineal tear. It was debilitating for a long while after birth. I didn't leave my house for at least 5 weeks and didn't return to exercise for 12 months +. This is what led to me to create Birth Tear Support.
It took a long time to feel like me again (with the help of physiotherapy and nourishing nutrition).
To gain great health again is possible. I can happily say, that after a couple of years we decided to have our second child. I gave birth to our 2nd daughter in 2018.
I think as women we undergo many challenges from skin & weight issues, to hormonal & conception issues. Once kids arrive, energy & gut health can become severely compromised.
I am very passionate about women's health, and especially the perinatal period. I truly love working with women during this time.
